    Trying like crazy to build my list…have an ad running for a free Instagram Cheat Sheet download…46 clicks, ZERO conversions. The landing page is simple, literally as soon as they enter their email address it automatically downloads a PDF. Ideas as to why someone would click “download” and then not enter their email address to get the free download? I’m so discouraged!

    If retargeting for list building, would you generally offer the same lead magnet a few days later (to those who clicked on the ad but didn’t opt-in) with different text and/or image or try a different lead magnet? The ads are for free content already and I was wondering if I should retarget using the same free content but change the images and/or text or retarget with a different but related free offer.

      Yes, so to improve your list building efforts, if they don’t opt in to the freebie (even though it’s free) you can retarget them to more free content, like a blog post, to warm them up without the “ask” – – just to consume the content.
